Project Manager in Security Protection

About the Position

As a project manager in security protection, you will lead the work within various development projects for the authority's security protection. The role includes participating in standardization and management work as well as leading and conducting evaluations of security protection. You will also participate in addressing complex security protection challenges.

The role also includes providing support to other functional areas within the authority with your expertise in security protection. You will have significant responsibility in the projects you lead or participate in, and the role also offers great freedom to influence how the work can be structured and how to find new paths in the security protection area. Here, there are good opportunities to contribute to the development of Sweden's security at a leading authority.

The position is located in Stockholm. Travel is required in the role.

About You

We see that you have a relevant post-secondary education or equivalent competence that FMV assesses as equivalent. You have several years of experience working with security protection within a government agency or larger organization and possess good knowledge of methods for security protection analysis and security protection planning. We see that you are accustomed to working where high demands have been placed on confidentiality and security awareness, as well as leading workgroups towards set goals. We also see that you have good knowledge of regulatory requirements in the field of security protection. To drive the work in the various projects and participate in collaboration, good ability to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish and English is required, as well as good proficiency in the Office suite.

If you have experience working with standardization, control, supervisory activities, or supervisory methodology, we consider this a strong merit. Experience from working within defense authorities or organizations in the defense area is also seen as a merit.
